My 6 years of specialist ENT training in the North East of England were completed in 2002 during which I was also awarded the Joseph Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
I thus also trained in centres of excellence in Amsterdam, Munich and Stuttgart before sitting and passing the American Board Exams for Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery.

After being appointed to an ENT Consultant post in Brighton and Worthing in 2003, I established myself as a sub-specialist in Rhinology and Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
I cover most General ENT problems but my areas of specialist interest are Rhinoplasty, Nasal Reconstruction, Advanced Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as Botox, Fillers and the Exilis deep tissue thermal treatment for skin tightening.

To underpin this process I carry out research within these spheres of practice plus I have been appointed as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School to oversee the teaching and curriculum development of undergraduate ENT / Facial Plastics at BSMS.

Currently I sit on the Facial Plastic Surgery Board of ENT-UK helping to establish and develop the new British Facial Plastic Surgery Society. This has also resulted in me being appointed to a new role on the Cosmetic Surgery Interspecialty Committee based at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. My role there will be to help improve and maintain standards for training and certification in facial plastic surgery throughout the UK.

My new initiatives are now to further develop my specialist interests and to this end I have teamed up with my colleagues Mr. David Roberts and Mr. Ben Hunter at the Harley Street Nose Clinic (www.harleystreetnoseclinic.com) to offer a full spectrum of advanced specialist management of nasal, sinus and facial plastic surgergical conditions. This will enable us to deliver a high quality, comprehensive service underpinned by experts within their fields in both Brighton and London.
I am also launching a high quality facial plastic surgery service at the Montefiori Hospital in Hove, delivered by a team with significant experience in facial and body contouring. Other members of the team will be Mr. Charles Nduka, a plastic surgeon with a tremendous reputation in the UK, and Karen Craker, a highly trained nursing sister who will be delivering an alternative to surgery in the form of the Exilis deep tissue thermal skin tightening system. She will also be responsible for allied treatments such as mesotherapy to deliver nutrients and anti-oxidants deep into the skin.

It is my intention to try and deliver a safe, high quality service with integrity at all times but I also have a life outside of my career.
I travel a lot, love architecture and enjoy cooking for friends and family but I am an enthusiastic sportsman, be it watching or participating. My days of marathon running are now over but alpine pursuits or watersports are still firm favourites and with any luck I plan to venture into the sphere of triathlons this year during the warmer summer months.
